Liv Tyler separates from husband

Actress Liv Tyler and musician Royston Langdon have separated.

A representative for Tyler told People: "Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time."

The couple wed in a private ceremony in the Caribbean in 2003. Their son Milo was born in 2004.

Langdon was the bass player and vocalist for the band Spacehog.

Tyler, the daughter of Aerosmith's frontman Steve, has appeared in Armageddon and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
