Louise Redknapp expecting second child

Louise Redknapp has announced that she is expecting her second child with husband Jamie.

The Clothes Show presenter was stunned to discover she was pregnant after just four weeks of trying.

She conceived her first child, now three, after undergoing laser surgery for endometriosis, a womb condition which can cause infertility.

However, she said no medical intervention was necessary this time around, telling The Mirror: "It was just absolute shock when I found out. It took me four years to have Charley and so this time, after just a month, it was very unexpected. We had talked about having another baby and we kind of expected the same problems as last time."

She added: "When I did the pregnancy test, I nearly fell off the chair. The doctors don’t know why it has been so much easier this time - it’s just the luck of the draw I guess."

Redknapp is due to give birth in November. She has been married to Jamie, a footballer-turned-Sky sports presenter, for ten years.
