Ashlee Simpson dismisses 'emo Yoko' tag

Ashlee Simpson has denied that she is emo's answer to Yoko Ono.

The singer, who announced her engagement to Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz last month, has drawn comparisons with John Lennon's widow after rumours of bust ups with Wentz's bandmates.

Simpson told the Daily Record that she gets on well with the other members of Fall Out Boy when she joins them on tour.

"I'm pretty good at going on the road with him. Cleaning stuff up and being the good little girlfriend," she said. "We watched movies. Everybody likes to go to the front and hang out watching CNN."

Simpson admitted that seeing her sister Jessica's marriage to Nick Lachey end hasn't put her off walking down the aisle.

"No, no. Marriage hasn't been something that I've thought about all the time.

"I've never really thought about being Cinderella but I have a dream of being with the same person for the rest of my life and, of course, having a family."
