Anna Friel delays new baby plans

Anna Friel has admitted that she is delaying plans to have more children for the sake of her role in Pushing Daisies.

The actress already has one child, two-year-old Gracie, with her partner David Thewlis and she is keen to have two more.

However, Anna revealed that a pregnancy would cause too much disruption for the producers of Daisies. She stars on the show as Charlotte "Chuck" Charles, who is unable to touch her childhood sweetheart Ned (Lee Pace) after being resurrected by him.

"I would like another two, probably, but not yet. I can't right now," Friel told InStyle magazine. "I'm not sure how they would explain my character on Daisies getting preggers when her leading man can't actually touch her. What am I? The Virgin Mary?"

Friel recently denied claims that she was desperate to lose weight following the birth of Gracie in 2005.
