Gazza 'refusing to eat' in rehab

Troubled ex-footballer Paul Gascoigne has stopped eating in rehab, according to a report today.

Gascoigne is currently receiving treatment at The Priory clinic in Roehampton, South West London, following an incident at the Millennium Hotel in Knightsbridge last weekend.

A source told The Mirror: "He's not eating at all but just stands outside all day chain-smoking. He's looking increasingly haggard and weak. He's literally sitting there just sweating and smoking. He must get through 60 fags a day.

"But the main concern is that he's not eating. It's so sad. His whole demeanour is so sad and people are concerned that he's losing too much weight."

Paul's daughter Bianca has said in a statement that his family are "powerless to help him". She added: "I sincerely hope that the rehab staff are able to help him on his road to recovery."
