Blake's mum wants him to ditch Winehouse

Blake Fielder-Civil's mother has told her son that he would be "crazy" to reunite with Amy Winehouse.

Though Winehouse has insisted that her marriage is not in trouble, the couple are believed to be on the rocks, with both Amy and Blake facing accusations that they cheated on each other. While Amy has been linked to Alex Haines, her manager's assistant, Blake has been receiving secret jail visits from office receptionist Sarah Thomas.

Blake's mum Georgette has admitted that she is thrilled to see her son finally moving on from Amy and planning a future with Sarah, who has helped him to see the error of his ways in recent weeks.

"I've told him he should divorce Amy now and start a new life with Sarah," Georgette told the News of the World. "She's his best buddy and has been extremely supportive. Amy's a mess. I've told him if he goes back to her she will lead him to an early grave."

In a conversation with his mother, Blake revealed: "Unlike Amy, Sarah always turns up to visit me. She's always there for me.

"She knew me before I got addicted to drugs and told me how much she hated the way I changed when I got stoned with Amy. She's helped me get clean of drugs in prison. Now I feel I'm in control and I appreciate what an absolute s*** I've been when I was stoned. I'm determined to stay clean."

Winehouse was quizzed by police this week over a video which appeared to show her taking crack cocaine and Ecstasy.
