Hudson and Wilson 'not engaged'

Representatives for Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have denied reports that the couple are engaged.

Rumours of an impending wedding began to circulate last week when Hudson was spotted wearing a large diamond ring outside a restaurant in Boston.

However, the actress's publicist dismissed the speculation, telling Us magazine: "She's shooting a movie called Bride Wars, which explains the ring. She's definitely not engaged."

Wilson's spokesperson also denied the reports.

The couple started dating in 2006 after hooking up on the set of You, Me and Dupree. They split last June, but reunited earlier this year.
