Winstone: 'I urinated on gangster Kray'

Ray Winstone has claimed that he once urinated on London gangster Ronnie Kray.

The actor revealed that he was held by Ronnie - a notorious organised crime figure with twin brother Reggie in the '60s - as a child and peed on his jacket.

Winstone's father worked as a taxi driver in the East End at the height of the Krays' crime wave and the Beowulf star admitted he was shocked to learn of the incident.

"He [Winstone's father] told me the story years later. My dad knew the Kray twins very well," Winstone is quoted as saying.
