Cattrall mum proud of 'SATC' nude scenes

Kim Cattrall's mum has described her daughter's nude scenes in Sex And The City as "fabulous".

Cattrall, 51, regularly appeared naked on screen as independent businesswoman Samantha Jones in the hit US TV series. She is also expected to strip off in the forthcoming movie adaptation.

Her 79-year-old mother Shane said that Cattrall was a great "role model" for older women and argued that people who complained about the sex scenes were just envious.

Shane said: "Kim is a role model for 50-something women. Much has been made about her nudity in the film, but I think she looks fabulous.

"Anyone who knocks that is jealous. All this fuss about a bit of nudity is ridiculous."

Sex And The City: The Movie is released in cinemas later this month.
