Michelle Ryan reveals zoologist passion

Michelle Ryan has claimed that she would have liked a career in zoology.

The former EastEnders star said that she would have attempted to pursue a career working with animals if acting hadn't been a success for her.

She told The Independent: "I would love to have been a zoologist, or something that definitely involves travel and animals.

"I really would love to go jungle trekking in Peru."

Ryan also revealed that she is a keen supporter of green issues. "If we're not careful, in 50 years time we'll be in a lot more trouble," she added.

"Global warming is something we all really need to be aware of."
