Jenny Frost gave up vodka for baby

Atomic Kitten singer Jenny Frost has revealed that she gave up alcohol so she could breastfeed her son.

Frost admitted that the decision was initially difficult as she missed drinking while she was pregnant with son Caspar, who was born last October.

She told Star magazine: "When I first found out I was pregnant, I didn't want to breastfeed - purely because of vodka, really! I wanted to drink again, but the second I laid eyes on him, I knew I'd do whatever was best for him and it felt like the most natural thing in the world.

"When I was pregnant, I couldn't wait to go out and have a vodka, but then when I had Caspar, I just wanted a cup of tea! They had a wine list next to the bed in the hospital I gave birth in, but I only wanted a tea!

"I only breastfed for a few weeks as I got mastitis. I was devastated."

Frost added that she was delighted that pregnancy made her breasts bigger after once comparing them to two teabags.

"Now they're like pyramid tea bags that have been used twice! When I was younger, I had nothing - it was like two Jelly Tots on an ironing board!" she said.
