Winehouse 'to model at Fashion Week'

Amy Winehouse could model for designer Julian McDonald at London Fashion Week, according to a report.

McDonald wants the singer to make her catwalk debut at the annual event, which takes place in September.

The Daily Star quotes him as saying: "Amy has great style and she's an amazing talent, isn't she? She's unique."

However, a fashion insider disagreed with his assessment, saying: "It's unbelievable - when you see her she is such a mess. She's always roaming the streets in ripped clothes, like she's thrown things on, and not on purpose.

"She goes for a rework of the '50s look, but when she's out of it, she looks terrible."

Naomi Campbell and Paris Hilton are among the celebrities to have worn the top dress in McDonald's collection in the past.

Victoria Beckham previously recommended Winehouse as a model to designer Roberto Cavelli.
