Amy Winehouse will not face charges over a video which appeared to show her taking crack cocaine and Ecstasy.

The singer was arrested on suspicion of possession of "a controlled substance" on May 7 and bailed to return to Limehouse police station later this month.

The Sun posted a clip of Winehouse allegedly using a crack pipe during a party at her East London home in January. She later checked into rehab.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "The Crown Prosecution Service has now reviewed the case and no further action is being taken."

The CPS said it was unable to establish whether the substances seen in the video were illegal drugs.

Winehouse's spokesman commented: "Amy is pleased to be able to move on. She particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly-awaited festival performances this summer."
