Spears on holiday with Mel Gibson

Britney Spears is taking a holiday with Mel Gibson, reports claim.

Spears and dad Jamie flew out to Gibson's holiday home in Costa Rica with the actor and wife Robyn on Tuesday, according to Entertainment Tonight.

A source said: "They're just going away for a few days to relax. Mel and his wife Robin clearly saw a woman in crisis and wanted to extend themselves in any way possible."

It was recently reported that Gibson has been helping Spears to rediscover her faith in God. They were spotted dining together at an LA restaurant in March.
