Katona's mum pleads guilty to tax fraud

Kerry Katona's mother has pleaded guilty to a charge of benefit fraud.

Susan, 48, admitted at Runcorn Magistrates' Court that she wrongly claimed income support and council tax benefits between July 2006 and March 2007.

Kerry was not present at the hearing. The case is adjourned to June 9.

It is reported that Susan failed to notify the authorities about her income from media outlets after giving interviews about Kerry.
