Kiefer Sutherland finalises divorce

24 star Kiefer Sutherland has divorced Elizabeth Kelly Winn.

A Los Angeles judge finalised Sutherland's split from his long-estranged spouse last Friday, according to court documents made public yesterday.

The couple married in 1996 but separated three years later. In 2004, Sutherland filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

Sutherland was previously married to Camelia Kath, with whom he has a daughter, Sarah.

The 41-year-old was also engaged to his Flatliners co-star Julia Roberts.

Sutherland recently served a 48-day jail term for driving under the influence of alcohol.
