Simon Cowell reveals school "trick"

Simon Cowell has admitted that he used to pretend to be ill to get out of attending school.

The American Idol star revealed that he often went to great lengths to avoid his education.

He told The Tonight Show: "I didn’t like school so I had a trick - I put my mother’s white make-up on.

"I’d get a cup of tea, put it on my head and tell my parents, ‘Not feeling well, feel my temperature’."

Cowell also confessed to practising his kissing technique in a mirror when he was a child.
