The socialite confirmed rumours that she wants to start a family with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, whom she has been dating for three months.
She told Heat: "I do want a baby. Pretty soon. Not yet because I'm so busy, but next year."
It was recently reported that Nicole Richie is furious that Hilton is "copying her life" by hooking up with her fiancé's brother and talking about children.
Richie gave birth to her first child with Joel Madden in January.
