Carey denies £2 million wedding plans

Mariah Carey has laughed off reports that she and husband Nick Cannon plan to renew their vows in a £2 million ceremony.

The couple, who married in the Bahamas in April after a two-month romance, were rumoured to be throwing a lavish bash in New York for family and friends.

Although the singer did not deny that a second ceremony would take place, she dismissed speculation about the cost.

She said in a statement to MTV: "4 milly? On what? Cake?"
