Dylan McDermott files for divorce

Actor Dylan McDermott has filed for divorce from his wife.

The 46-year-old, who played Bobby Donnell on US legal drama The Practice, split with actress Shiva Rose last spring after 13 years.

He is seeking joint custody of the couple's daughters Colette, 12, and two-year-old Charlotte Rose.

Papers filed at Los Angeles Superior Court last Friday cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, reports CelebTV.
