Paris Hilton denies engagement reports

Paris Hilton has quashed rumours that she is engaged to musician Benji Madden.

Madden's brother and bandmate Joel described Hilton as his sister-in-law at last month's Coachella Festival, fuelling speculation the pair were ready to tie the knot.

She was also recently spotted wearing a two-banded diamond ring on her wedding finger.

Speaking about the jewellery, Hilton told People: "No, it's just a present. [Benji is] sweet.

"We want to stay together forever. I wouldn't do a Vegas [wedding]. I don't know where or when but I do want it to be romantic."
