Hoffman: 'Monogamy is unnatural'

Dustin Hoffman has revealed that he doesn't believe in monogamy.

The Oscar-winning Rain Man star said that he finds the concept "unnatural".

"There's so much about marriage that's unnatural. I don't think it's natural to be monogamous, to be as in love as you were the day before," he confessed.

However, the 70-year-old insisted that he was loyal to his wife, lawyer Lisa Gottsegen.

"Does fidelity make sense? Yes. I don't think that you can substitute honesty in a relationship."

Hoffman has been married to Gottsegen since 1980. The couple have four children together. Hoffman also has two children from his first marriage to Anne Byrne.
