Cyrus 'hurting' over photo scandal

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus is reportedly 'hurting inside' following her Vanity Fair photo scandal.

The 15-year-old told co-star Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, who plays Ashley Dewitt on the Disney show, that she was tempted to quit showbusiness after her shoot for the magazine sparked outrage.

E! Online quotes Perez de Tagle as saying: "Sometimes I'll talk to her on the phone and she'll be like, 'It's really hard' or 'I'm really tired. I can't do this'.

"It really hurt her inside. She didn't know that people would look at it like that."
