Lohan's dad denies lesbian claims

Lindsay Lohan's dad has denied confirming that his daughter is in a lesbian relationship with Samantha Ronson.

Michael Lohan was quoted by Us Weekly as saying that it was obvious to anyone with "half a brain" that the pair were romantically involved.

They were recently photographed cuddling at the Cannes Film Festival and Lindsay is believed to have said she wants to marry the DJ, sister of music producer Mark Ronson.

However, Michael told Access Hollywood that his remarks had been taken out of context, insisting that he had been referring to a matter involving ex-wife Dina's reality TV show.

He said: "I never said anything like that about Lindsay or a relationship with Samantha. I never looked at the pictures! I never looked at any derogatory pictures that were purportedly posted on the internet, so how could I comment?

"[The quote] was applied towards Lindsay. It was twisted and misrepresented. That's Lindsay's business. Lindsay can make her own life choices, that's between her and God."
