Kristen Bell reveals schoolgirl crush

Kristen Bell has admitted that she had a schoolgirl crush on NHL star Chris Osgood.

Bell confessed to being obsessed with the ice hockey star, who plays for her local team Detroit Red Wings, describing him as her "first crush".

Writing on the NHL's official website, the actress said: "Brad Pitt be damned – he had nothing on Osgood's rookie skill and sad eyes.

"There was actually a day in high school when I wrote on a name tag 'Mrs. Osgood' and wore it the whole day.

"I really thought we were perfect for each other. I'd love to meet him - and probably apologise that things never worked out."

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star revealed that she was still a huge fan of the Red Wings and tipped them for success in this week's Stanley Cup Finals.

"They have heart, skill, class - and the best colour combination known to man," added Bell. "That is why they will win."
