Van Outen revealed that Barrowman, her fellow judge on reality show I'd Do Anything, tried to drag her into a pool at the home of composer Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.
She told the Radio Times: "John went skinny-dipping in Andrew's pool when we were at his house but I remained clothed. He tried dragging me in, but I resisted by clinging for dear life to the wall. Andrew wasn't there but John told him he'd been in his pool naked and he just laughed."
The 33-year-old added that musical mogul Lloyd Webber had impressive dance floor skills.
"I knew he had a sense of humour because I'd hung out with him before," she said. "I tell you what: he's more rock 'n' roll than any of us put together. When we used to go out he'd be on the dance floor throwing some shapes; he was the last to leave.
"People are a bit shocked when they see the Lord going for it on the dance floor. He's a good mover."
