Bill Murray's wife files for divorce

Bill Murray's second wife has begun divorce proceedings after nearly 11 years of marriage.

Jennifer Butler Murray's complaint accuses the actor of drug addiction, abandonment, adultery and physical abuse.

She filed the documents on May 12 in Charleston County, South Carolina, where she owns a home, reports Charleston's Post and Courier newspaper.

Murray's lawyer John McDougall said the Lost In Translation star is "deeply saddened" by the breakup.

The couple married in 1997 and have four sons. Murray also has two sons from his first marriage to Margaret "Mickey" Kelly.
