Chris Martin: 'I dream about Westlife'

Coldplay singer Chris Martin has admitted to dreaming about Irish boyband Westlife.

The frontman said he often thought about other bands when he was sleeping, but claimed the dreams were often reminiscent of childhood bullying.

"I always dream about other musicians. And they’re never interested in hanging out with us," Martin told Q.

"It’s like being at school and the bigger boys don’t want to play with you. I dreamt about Radiohead last night and Westlife the night before."

Martin also confessed that he was surprised by his band's superstar status.

He commented: "I can’t believe we’ve got away with becoming this huge band. And we still haven’t done anything I think is that good yet."

Coldplay release their fourth studio album Viva La Vida on June 12.
