Alesha splits from footballer Carew

Alesha Dixon has ended her relationship with Norwegian footballer John Carew.

The Aston Villa striker was spotted partying at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month, sparking rumours he was single again.

A spokesperson for Dixon confirmed that the pair were no longer together. They told The Mirror: "Alesha has been single for a while. They were dating but sadly it did not work out."

Dixon began a relationship with the soccer star shortly after her victory on last year's Strictly Come Dancing.
