Love: Kurt ashes have been stolen

The ashes of Kurt Cobain have been stolen, his wife Courtney Love has claimed.

Love, who was married to the Nirvana legend when he committed suicide in 1994, kept them in a pink bag along with a lock of his hair. The pink, teddy bear-shaped bag was taken in a burglary two weeks ago, according to the News of the World.

"I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me," Love is quoted as saying. "I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal. If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do.

"They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me."
