Nixon's lover 'hates women's clothes'

Cynthia Nixon has revealed that her lesbian lover hates wearing women's clothes.

The actress, who reprises her role as Miranda Hobbes in Sex And The City: The Movie, said girlfriend Christine Marinoni prefers men's attire.

She is quoted as saying: "She only wears men's clothes. She won't even wear any kind of women's shoes.

"I bought her a pair of cowboy boots that were from a women's department, and she was like, 'Don't do this again'."

The couple have been dating since the end of Nixon's marriage to Danny Mozes in 2003. It was recently reported that they plan to exchange vows in a commitment ceremony.
