Federline named Father of the Year

Kevin Federline has been named Father of the Year by a Las Vegas club.

The dancer, who has two-year-old Sean Preston and 20-month-old Jayden James with ex-wife Britney Spears, won the award from nightspot Prive.

He will collect the gong at a party he is hosting on June 13, two days before Father's Day in the US.

The accolade is Federline's second in six months. Details magazine voted him and Anna Nicole Smith's ex Larry Birkhead as their Fathers of the Year in November, saying: "The New Dad, as represented by Kevin and Birkhead, is involved. He trucks the kids to the supermarket, decorates their bedrooms, and even lets them dictate the direction of his career."

Federline also has six-year-old daughter Kori and son Kaleb, four, with ex Shar Jackson.
