Allen apologises for awards behaviour

Lily Allen has admitted that she is embarrassed by her behaviour at last night's Glamour Women of the Year Awards.

The singer, who arrived at the London ceremony with her hair dyed pink, received the magazine's editor's choice award.

She spent the evening drinking with brother Alfie and his girlfriend Jaime Winstone, as well as pals Mark Ronson, Kelly Osbourne and James Corden.

She was later carried out through a side door by a bouncer and deposited in a waiting car.

Allen said on her MySpace blog: "Last time I wrote here, I was defending my honour and dignity, explaining my innocence and also my outrage at the press for insinuating my behaviour was embarrassing.

"This time I'm putting my hands up, I got very drunk last night, too drunk. It's not cool getting that drunk. I feel awful and I have to thank my little brother Alf for getting me home safely."

She added: "Kids, drink responsibly or you'll end up looking like this: Not pretty! Was quite fun though, from what I can remember. I need a fry up now."
