Shatner not invited to Takei's wedding

William Shatner will not be invited to his Star Trek co-star George Takei's wedding.

Speaking to AP Radio, Takei's partner Brad Altman said that the venue for their September 14 ceremony only has room for 200 people.

"Our contact list has 3,500 names, so we have to whittle it down and I don't know if William Shatner is going to make the cut," he explained.

The couple's best man will be Trek actor Walter Koenig, while Nichelle Nichols, Uhura on the cult show, will be the matron of honour. Leonard Nimoy is also invited to the wedding.

Shatner admitted in his recent autobiography that several of his Star Trek co-stars told him that they hated him.
