According to the Daily Record, the actress has brought forward her wedding plans because she fears McCall will be forced to leave the US if the anticipated Screen Actors Guild strike goes ahead.
"Ross is in this country on a non-resident work visa and if there is a strike, he might be forced to go back to the UK," a source close to Jennifer told the newspaper. "But Jennifer is so in love she couldn't bear the thought of them being separated. They are now racing around trying to organise venues and put things in place."
The pair announced their engagement in November last year. Love Hewitt recently ruled out a summer ceremony because she was worried about being "sweaty" in her wedding dress.
