The TV chef will release Life With My Sister Madonna in mid-July.
Publisher Simon & Schuster said: "Ciccone's extraordinary memoir is based on his life and 47 years of growing up with and working with his sister - the most famous woman in the world."
However, the singer is rumoured to be so upset about the possible revelations in the book that she has contacted lawyers in London to discuss her legal options.
A source told E! blogger Marc Malkin: "When she was meeting with lawyers and everyone was saying it was because she wanted to divorce Guy, she was really meeting with them to get the book killed."
Madonna's spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg denied that any meetings have taken place.
