Ex-EastEnders star Paul Nicholls has revealed that he is tying the knot next week.

The 29-year-old said he will marry near his home in Hampstead, London, but refused to reveal his fiancée's name.

He told the Daily Telegraph: "We have been together over eight years, and she isn't in the business, so I don't think it's right to talk about her. But my family is coming down from Bolton and her family is coming down from Scotland."

He added: "You won't be seeing any pictures of the wedding in any of the mags, it's just going to be for family and friends."

Nicholls's previous girlfriends include former co-star Martine McCutcheon.
