The actress, who plays the indestructible Claire Bennet, claimed she was always up for a physical challenge on the sci-fi show.
"I love doing my own stunts," she told the Mail on Sunday. "I don't have time to go to the gym, and I don't have a chance to be on teams anymore.
"Being on the set of Heroes keeps me in shape. I'll do as many stunts as they let me do. Not a whole lot scares me anymore. Nothing has ever freaked me out."
When asked what superhero power she would like, Panettiere commented: "I'd love to be invisible. It's the superhero power I'd want most.
"Not all the time, obviously, and not to spy on other people. It's just that once in a while it would be useful not to be seen."
