Michelle Rodriguez's fans have protested against her jail sentence and are appealing for it to be shortened.
The former Lost actress was sentenced to 180 days behind bars for breaking her probation order which stemmed from a 2003 driving under the influence charge.
She was ordered to start the sentence by December 24, but her fans have pleaded for the decision to be reversed.
Creator of the petition, Leigh Lewallen, wrote to the judge who sentenced the star, saying: "We are begging you to have mercy on Ms. Rodriguez and reverse your decision for her to serve so much time behind bars.
"She is a good soul and has much to offer the world that cannot be achieved if imprisoned for such an amount of time.
"We are outraged and just want to show our love for Michelle."
Over 650 signatures have already been collected since the petition was launched on October 12.
