'Lost' star apologises for drink-driving
Lost star Daniel Dae Kim has apologised for driving while under the influence of alcohol.

The actor was arrested in Hawaii in the early hours of Thursday morning, after a police officer spotted him driving erratically. His blood-alcohol level was 0.168, twice the legal limit.

In a statement released by his publicist, Kim has admitted that he is "deeply ashamed and embarrassed" and promised to fully co-operate with police.

"It saddens me to know that I jeopardised the welfare of the kind people of Hawaii, a community that I love and call my home," Kim explained.

"To my friends, family, colleagues and fans, thank you for your kind words of support," he continued. "To those I have disappointed I can only ask that you accept my heartfelt apologies. I am truly, truly sorry."

Kim, who plays Jin-Soo Kwon on the hit TV show, will appear in court on November 23.
