Michelle Rodriguez has started her six-month jail sentence on Christmas Eve for violating her probation for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The former Lost star booked herself in today to begin the 180-day sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood.
Rodriguez admitted that she failed to complete community service and that she had submitted a false document claiming that she had completed the work in September.
The actress also violated her probation terms by drinking alcohol on three occasions while wearing a monitoring bracelet on her ankle when she had been told to not drink for 90 days.
