Holloway robber gets 30-year jail term

An armed robber who held Lost actor Josh Holloway hostage has been sentenced to up to 30 years in jail.

Ruben Royce, 23, broke into Holloway's Hawaii home in October 2005. He threatened the actor and his wife before taking their car and wallets.

Royce previously admitted 34 offences including kidnapping, robbery, burglary and car theft.

Judge Karl Sakamoto, passing sentence this week, said Royce had been responsible for "a tidal wave of crime".
