Brian Paddick weds boyfriend in Norway

Former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Brian Paddick has wed his boyfriend in Norway.

The retired police officer married partner Peter Belsvik at a private ceremony in Oslo over the weekend.

The couple had been dating for two years after meeting while on holiday in Ibiza in 2006.

Speaking about his plans last year, Paddick told the Daily Mail that he chose to wed in Norway rather than the UK because "same-sex couples can actually get married, as opposed to entering a civil partnership".

A celebratory party was held for the newlyweds at the Hempel Hotel in London's Paddington last night, with Paddick's jungle mates Simon Webbe, Nicola McLean and George Takei in attendance.

The 50-year-old was the sixth celebrity to be voted off the ITV1 programme when he took part last year.
