Welsh popstar and I'm A Celebrity... contestant Cerys Matthews is expecting her third child.

The Catatonia singer's new baby is her first with her agent Steve Abbott. Matthews, 40, and Abbott, 49, were first romantically linked in February.

"Cerys and Steve are delighted - they could not be happier," a source told The Sun. "They wanted to keep the situation under wraps until they were certain everything was going smoothly.

"It has been a great year for Cerys. Her career has gone from strength to strength - but this news tops it all."

Matthews already has daughter Glenys Pearl y-Felin, 5, and son Johnny Tupelo Jones, 3, with ex-husband Seth Riddle.

The BBC 6 Music presenter split from her I'm A Celebrity... co-star Marc Bannerman last October.
