The '80s popstar and I'm A Celebrity... contestant's book will be released by Apex Publishing next June.
"I know that I have lived a pretty full and colourful life, and I felt it was about time that I gave my side of it," he said. "It was only when I first sat down to write my autobiography that I realised just how much has happened to me.
"I've made mistakes, of course I have, but haven't we all? The thing is that I've had a great time along the way. I've had a string of hits, I've had relationships with some of the most beautiful women on the planet, I've got two wonderful daughters and I almost won the most popular reality TV show. I even got a facelift for free - where did it all go wrong?"
He added: "It's been a hell of a ride, and I am delighted to have the chance to share it with the British public."
The book will cover the reality TV star's career, which started at the Italia Conti Stage School. It will include the "hair-raising antics" from his time with pop duo Dollar, his drug problems, experiences in the jungle and his bankruptcy, when he resorted to working in a burger van.
