Dixon: 'Bugner is racist or misogynist'

Alesha Dixon has suggested that Joe Bugner is racist or does not like women after the ex-boxer insulted her former Mis-Teeq bandmate Sabrina Washington.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge made the comments to Kate Walsh on last night's Live From Studio Five.

Dixon said: "He has been a bit mean to Sabrina... Well, he is either racist or he doesn't like women, one of the two."

"He was calling her, calling her thick - she is far from it. And he said she couldn't cook - she is a great cook! I thought, 'Why is he picking on her, what's he playing at?', but she will not take any crap from anyone."

Kate Walsh added: "I think he is old-fashioned."

At the weekend, Bugner apologised for his comments about Washington's cooking ability.
