Mark Wright has dismissed the idea of dating Emily Scott, admitting that he wants to remain single.
Speaking on ITV's This Morning, Wright said that he had not realised how viewers were seeing his friendship with his fellow I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here campmate.

"Do you know what, we never had that many conversations in there, it wasn't until I got out that loads of people were asking me what's happening with you and Emily, and I was like, 'Nothing, why do you say that?', [and they'd say], 'You were flirting loads'," he said.
"It's an absolute privilege to hear that a beautiful girl fancies me and she really is a lovely person. But we're friends, and if she comes over we may or may not meet up for a drink, all the cast, and she really is an amazing girl but there's no romantic feelings for me like that."
Wright told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: "I just want to be on my own. It was a great time for me to go away and clear my head from everything and my past, and it really did work and I just want to be on my own now and look forward to my future career."

Speaking about his jungle friendship with Dougie Poynter and Antony Cotton, Wright admitted that his former The Only Way is Essex co-star James 'Arg' Argent had worried about being forgotten.
"No lie, he was texting my mum asking, 'Can I speak to him yet, can I speak to him yet?' So I called him and the first thing he said to me was, 'So Mark what's gonna happen between me and you?' I said, 'What do you mean?' and he said, 'It looks like you've grown two great friends with Antony and Dougie'.
He added: "When I put the phone down he texted me saying, 'Please tell me the truth, am I still your best friend?' And I've still got the text, but Arg will always be my best friend."
