A Sunday tabloid published a photograph of Attwater snogging Schauman, who is married to Lucasz Rozycki - another professional skater on the ITV show. The report alleged that Attwater had faked his relationship with partner Brianne Delcourt for the programme.
However, speaking on ITV's This Morning, Tamaddon insisted that Attwater, Delcourt and Schauman had been "caught in a little bit of a cliche".
"I want to clear something up that is definitely important," she said. "Alex and Lucasz are very happily married and there is nothing going on between Sam and Alex. What you saw in the papers and the headlines was a very innocent, silly drunken little..."
Host Phillip Schofield interjected: "You can understand why the papers would run with that."
He added: "I think that I'm going to be on the press' side on this one and say that you've got to be very careful with how you portray a story."
Addressing Schauman and Rozycki's marriage, Tamaddon added: "Alex and Lucasz are happy. I was with them in the green room last night and I said, 'I'm going to talk about this and clear it up, is that okay?', and they were absolutely fine with it. They are fine."
Describing Attwater as a "flirtatious lad", the former winner admitted that she believes the short romance between the ex-EastEnders actor and his partner may be over.
"There was maybe there was something going on and think maybe now there's not," she added.
