Vanilla Ice 'wants Charlie Sheen on DOI'

Vanilla Ice has suggested that an appearance on Dancing On Ice would save Charlie Sheen from his "midlife crisis".

The 'Ice Ice Baby' singer, who finished seventh in this year's run of the ITV contest, proposed that having a skill to master would give the troubled star some much-needed "stability".

"Charlie Sheen on Dancing On Ice would be great," the popstar told The Sun. "It would lick him into shape."

He added: "Charlie doesn't know his purpose. He's got all the money in the world, just like me. But it doesn't matter about money. It's about your purpose in life and your stability - and he has none of that.

"He's going through a midlife crisis. He's lost. He doesn't know his place in life... I wanted to give him advice because he has kids."

Vanilla previously revealed that he came close to a breakdown at the height of his fame in the 1990s.
