'Dancing on Ice' Christine Bleakley, Jennifer Ellison enjoy DVD boost

Dancing on Ice stars Christine Bleakley, Jennifer Ellison and Rosemary Conley have enjoyed a sales boost for their fitness DVDs, according to Amazon.
The online retailer has revealed that the return of the ITV1 skating competition has resulted in a rise in sales for the trio, with Bleakley leading the way.
The presenter's DVD, Christine Bleakley - The Workout has enjoyed a 339% increase, while former Brookside star Jennifer Ellison's Fat Blaster Workout is up 230%.
Meanwhile, fitness guru Rosemary Conley's 2005 DVD Fitness Triple Pack has enjoyed a 58% boost in sales since her involvement in the competition was announced.
"People see celebrities on shows like Dancing on Ice and want to know how they got in such great shape," John Boumphrey, director of music, film and TV at Amazon said. "The success of Rosemary Conley is particularly noteworthy as her DVD was released back in 2005, and we would expect sales of DVDs from these contestants to remain strong for as long as the public keeps them in the show."
However, Celebrity Big Brother favourite Natalie Cassidy has not enjoyed a similar sales spike. She released Get Slim With The Stars - Natalie Cassidy / Hannah Waterman last month, but Amazon said that Ellison's DVD - released on the same day - has so far achieved 250 times more sales than its rival.
